Ryback Cyzr Lomboy

Summary of restaurant concept: “Boujee af beachfront version of Captain D’s/Long John Silver’s”

Staff: 10/10 – Staff was exceptional! You can tell they work as a team from the time you order to the time you leave in providing quality service. We ended up feeling like we had been going here for years. Big caveat is that me and the fam pulled up to the joint at opening time. I can’t speak for service at peak hours but given how this team worked so hard to provide us service, the complaining of “bad service” are hella suspicious and should be taken with two massive spoons of salt.

Food Quality: 10/10 – Honestly, I was kinda afraid of what to expect because of some reviews but the food that the entire fam got was something Gordon Ramsay would be proud of. Again, I am hella suspicious now of all the negative reviews regarding portion size. Have these people actually eaten fresh, non-processed, non-over-battered seafood before? Personally got the fried fish (flounder), which was piping hot and more flaky (in a good way) than our hotel’s WiFi connection. To those complaining about portion sizes: If you want to stuff your face without paying boujee prices, there’s a Whataburger down the street.

Prices: N/A – Honestly I thought about joining other reviewers and complaining about high prices (the $101 we spent could’ve gone into another cart rental), but after considering the beachfront property and amazing staff (I hope to God y’all are giving them all the money they deserve), I’m so conflicted that I’m abstaining from giving a grade. If there is no other way to cut costs without sacrificing good service and good food, then don’t bother doing them; people will just need to either recognize the value in terms of service, atmosphere, and food that they’re getting or go somewhere else.
